Do you realise that we all perceive colours and shades of colours differently?
Please be aware that there are many factors that determine your awareness of colours, including your own perception of light vibration and frequency.
The following are some suggestions (there are many different aura colour meanings out there) of the aura colours meanings.
The more you learn about yourself and what is around you, you will start to see different shades of colours and higher vibrational frequencies.
Being unique, there will be no two auras the same, so there is no need for comparison. We are all different and the aura will reflect that in many ways.
There are also no mistakes in interpreting the colours.
Everyone sees colour slightly differently, especially if you are colour blind so trust your instincts too and go with the word description if you hear it too.
The different aura colours meanings:
The colours are open to interpretation and different people will sometimes see different shades of each other. Trust your instincts with what you feel as you can connect energetically to each colour to gain a clearer understanding.
Reds - Base Chakra
RED ~ Element of Fire, Warmth, Lifeforce vitality. Love, passion and strength. Identifies with the circulation, the heart and the physical body. A dense colour attracts or repels. Positive attributes of red energy are a healthy ego. Negative attributes of red energy can give way to anger, unforgiving, anxiety or nervousness.
SHADES OF RED ~ Deep Red – strong-willed, grounded, survival, realistic. Muddy Red– anger. Clear Red – powerful, sensual, passionate, energetic, competitive. Orange Red – confidence. Bright Pink – sensual, artistic, affection, love, sensitivity, compassion, can indicate clairaudience. Dark Muddy Pink– dishonesty, immaturity.
Oranges - Sacral Chakra
ORANGE ~ Relates to the reproductive organs and emotional feelings. It is a colour of good health, vitality and excitement. In a positive light, orange energy is productive, creative, sociable and courageous. In a negative light, it can give way to stress and addictions. It can also indicate emotional healing.
SHADES OF ORANGE ~ Orange Yellow – intelligence, detail-oriented, scientific, creative, perfectionist. Brownish Orange – low level of ambition, laziness or just repressed emotion.
Yellows - Solar Plexus Chakra
YELLOW ~ Refers to the spleen and life energy. It is the colour of awakening, optimism, easy-going nature, inspiration and intelligence. The colour of sunshine, a purifier.
SHADES OF YELLOW ~ Pale Yellow – psychic and spiritual awareness, optimism, hopefulness, positivity. Bright Yellow – fear of losing control, respect, power struggles and control personally and in business. Clear Metallic Gold – spirituality activated, inspirational awakening. Dark Muddy Yellow Gold – fatigue and stress from studying or trying to learn everything all at one time. Lemon – a combination of happiness and growth.
Greens - Heart Chakra
GREEN ~ Seen often in Reiki practitioners and energy healers. Pertains to the heart and lungs. It is a comfortable and healthy colour of nature. Represents balance, growth, and change. Depicts a love of people, animals, and nature.
SHADES OF GREEN ~ Emerald Green – healer, loving person. Yellow Green – Communication, heartfelt, creative. Muddy Forest Green – jealousy, victim, blaming others, insecurity, sensitivity to criticism, lacking personal responsibility.
TURQUOISE ~ Connects to the immune system. It is a sensitive, compassionate aura, that of a healer or a therapist. (a mixture of Blue and Green) Is also the colour of the Soul and being able to speak from the heart about emotional scars and issues.
Blues - Throat Chakra
BLUE ~ All about the throat and thyroid. It is a cool, calm and collected colour, producing caring, loving, sensitive and intuitive energies.
SHADES OF BLUE ~ Light Blue – peacefulness, clarity, intuitive, truthful. Royal Blue – clairvoyance, very spiritual, generous, open to new opportunities. Muddy Blue – fear of expression, future, speaking the truth.
Indigos - Third Eye Chakra
INDIGO ~ Identifies with the third eye and pituitary gland. It is the colour of deep feeling, intuition and sensitivity.
Purples - Crown Chakra
PURPLE ~ The royal colour (a mixture of Red and Blue). High vibration crown energy connecting to the Soul Star. Seen often around people whilst channelling.
VIOLET ~ Relates to the crown, pineal gland and nervous system. It is the most sensitive of colours in the aura. It is intuitive, and visionary, reveals psychic power, is magical, and is artistic.
LAVENDER ~ This colour denotes vision, imagination and daydreaming.
Gold and Silver - Connection to the Higher Spiritual Realms
SILVER ~ Highlights spiritual and physical abundance. A lot of bright silver in the aura may mean money or a spiritual awakening. It is also known as a sign of purity.
SHADES OF SILVER ~ Bright Metallic Silver – nurturing, intuitive, new ideas. Muddy Gray – accumulation of fear in the body, health problems when seen in certain areas of the body. Dirty Gray Overlay — pertains to the blocking of energy, and guarded scepticism.
GOLD ~ Connects to divine protection and enlightenment. Someone with this aura is encased in divine guidance and has wisdom, inner peace, intuition and spiritual thinking.
Black and White - The Balance of Universe - Yin and Yang
BLACK ~ Associates with pulling, capturing and transforming energy. Indicates an unforgiving nature (to self or others), past life problems, unreleased anger, grief or health problems. It is the absence of colour rather than colour and as such in the hands of a skilled healer can be used to great advantage to negate negative mental, emotional and physical conditions or circumstances.
WHITE ~ Showcases reflecting other energy and protection. It can signal a new energy in the aura, truth, purity, angelic qualities and a healthy individual. If there are flashes or sparkles of white light, angels are near.
SHADES OF WHITE ~ Dirty Greyish White — possible illness. Cool White (Snow) – high vibrational connection with Spirit. Warm White (Ivory) – usually around people working with spirit receiving messages. Cream – compassion, caring, usually a health practitioner.
Other Colours
EARTH TONES ~ Identifies with the colours of the soil, wood, minerals, and plants. These important and good grounding colours can be seen in those who work outdoors, such as in farming.
RAINBOW ~ Rainbow stripes emanating as beams of light from the hand, head or body can indicate a healer.
PASTELS ~ Refer to sensitivity and a need for serenity. They are seen as soft blends of light and colour.
BROWN ~ Greedy, self-absorbed, close-minded. It can also indicate grounding and a healthy respect for the planet.
SHADES OF BROWN ~ Dirty Brown Overlay — holds on to negative energy, and insecurity.
