What Is the Future of Psychic Readings?
On-Demand Guidance, AI and Spiritual Entrepreneurship With Adam Frank
The future of psychic readings is already changing as spiritual creators explore new ways to connect with clients, offer guidance and build businesses around their gifts.
For years, many psychics, mediums, healers and spiritual advisors have pieced everything together themselves. One program takes the payment, another manages the booking, the reading happens somewhere else, messages arrive through social media, and then there is the website, email list, content creation and everything else sitting behind the scenes.
It can become a lot very quickly.
That was one of the reasons I wanted to speak with Adam Frank, founder and CEO of Hypsee, because this episode was never only about technology. It became a much bigger conversation about spiritual entrepreneurship, AI, authenticity, personal awakening, neurodivergence, perspective and what happens when you stop assuming your version of the world is the only one.
Adam did not begin his career planning to create a platform for spiritual entrepreneurs. His journey started in technology and the wider creator economy before spiritual creators began using the original platform in greater numbers.
Over time, something shifted.
Adam and his business partner began speaking with more spiritual creators, listening to what they needed and noticing that this part of the creator economy worked differently.
He described feeling a different energy when speaking with spiritual creators compared with other mentors and coaches. The more he explored that world, the more questions he had.
That curiosity eventually helped shape Hypsee.
“We wanted to collect everything and put everything in one platform. So it will be super easy for everyone, for creators and their clients.”
That idea sits right at the centre of the conversation.
How Is the Future of Psychic Readings Changing?
The traditional model of psychic readings has usually been fairly simple. Someone books a set appointment, pays for a block of time and waits for the session.
That model is not disappearing, but Adam believes clients are increasingly looking for more immediate access.
Hypsee offers spiritual creators different ways to work with clients, including scheduled sessions, recorded readings, live-stream support and instant pay-per-minute calls.
The instant call model particularly interested me because pay-per-minute psychic readings are not actually new. Australia has had psychic phone services and psychic television platforms before. What is changing is the ability for independent spiritual creators to offer that type of access to their own audience.
Instead of a client committing to a full session upfront, they can potentially connect for the amount of time they need.
Adam explained that this may lower the barrier for someone who is curious about a creator but does not yet want to spend hundreds of dollars on a longer appointment.
For the spiritual entrepreneur, it creates another way to offer their time without completely rebuilding their business.
That flexibility is important because not every creator works in the same way.
Some people want set appointments. Others prefer recorded guidance when they feel spiritually connected and ready to respond. Another creator may want to become available for only one or two hours each week.
There is no single business model that will suit everyone.
Do You Need a Huge Audience to Build a Spiritual Business?
One of the biggest reasons people do not start is the belief that nobody will listen.
They look at the psychics, healers, coaches and spiritual creators with hundreds of thousands of followers and assume there is no room left for anyone else.
Adam has seen something different.
“The size doesn’t matter in the spiritual industry.”
He shared that Hypsee had seen smaller creators with only a few hundred followers making thousands of dollars a month, while some creators with huge audiences were not making much at all.
“We saw small creators with, you know, just a few hundreds of followers making thousands of dollars a month.”
The number of people watching you is only one part of the picture.
Your relationship with your audience matters. So does your offer, your pricing, your availability and whether the people following you actually trust you enough to work with you.
A smaller engaged community can sometimes be far more valuable than a huge group of people who scroll past everything you share.
This matters for spiritual entrepreneurs because many people stay hidden while waiting to become big enough.
They think they need the perfect website, thousands of followers, polished branding and every system worked out before they can begin.
Adam’s advice was much simpler.
Start.
Build the profile. Share a disappearing story if that feels easier than making a permanent post. Offer something. See how people respond, then adjust from there.
You do not have to build the entire future before you take the first step.
Will AI Replace Spiritual Creators?
AI was another part of this conversation that I found really interesting because it is already becoming part of everyday business.
It can help you think, it can help with systems and it can help organise ideas.
But there is a line between using AI as a tool and allowing it to become your voice.
Adam was very direct about that.
“Don’t let AI be you. Don’t let AI create that content.”
That matters even more in spiritual work because people are not only buying information.
They are connecting with you.
Your life experience matters. Your energy matters. The way you explain something matters. Your humour, stories, language, mistakes and personality are part of why someone chooses to work with you instead of another person doing something similar.
There is no point trying to sound like everybody else.
“You be you and don’t try to be anything anyone else. And you will attract your people. Your people will come.”
I completely agree with that.
There are billions of people in the world. No single psychic, coach, healer or mentor can work with everybody.
People will connect with the person whose story, language and way of seeing the world makes sense to them.
You do not need to be better than everyone else.
You need to be you.
How Did Building Hypsee Lead to a Spiritual Awakening?
The conversation moved well beyond business when Adam started talking about his own relationship with spirituality.
He grew up around religion but moved away from it when he was young. Years later, working with spiritual creators opened a completely different doorway.
At first, he admitted that some of what people said sounded like complete gibberish to him.
When creators talked about being one with the universe, he had no idea what they meant.
Instead of walking away completely, he became curious.
Adam explored different parts of spirituality and worked out what connected with him personally. Astrology was not necessarily his thing, but mindfulness, presence and the idea that we are connected to something greater made sense to him.
His deeper awakening came later through his family.
After his wife received a late neurodivergent diagnosis, Adam began exploring autism, ADHD and the reality that different brains can experience the same world in completely different ways.
That changed the way he saw people.
Situations that once frustrated him began to look different because he realised someone could be looking at the same event and processing completely different information.
That understanding created humility.
“Once you understand that your view is so narrowed to you, that’s where the humility comes in.”
That line stayed with me.
How often do we assume our perspective is the truth simply because it is the one we can see?
Why Do Two People See the Same Situation Differently?
Adam shared an example of watching two people having an argument with his wife.
He noticed the anger, tension and conflict.
She noticed completely different details, including someone’s hair colour, eyebrows and facial proportions.
They were looking at the same scene.
Neither of them saw exactly the same thing.
That is where perspective becomes fascinating.
You can put 20 people in the same room, let them witness the same event and end up with 20 slightly different stories.
Each person notices different information.
Their brain filters the moment through previous experiences, beliefs, values and what naturally captures their attention.
Spirituality becomes much more expansive when you stop assuming everyone has to see the world the way you do.
The more Adam explored this, the more he started questioning his own certainty.
“The real spiritual awakening where you come with so many question marks and less exclamation marks.”
This became one of my favourite parts of the entire episode.
An exclamation mark says this is the way it is.
A question mark leaves room.
What if I am missing something?
Could there be another explanation?
What does this person see that I cannot?
How did their life experiences shape the way they are responding?
That does not mean you have no beliefs or boundaries.
It simply means you leave space for curiosity.
Adam summed it up beautifully.
“Just come with question marks.”
Can You Control What Happens Around You?
Another major theme throughout the conversation was control.
Life happens.
People do things we do not understand. Accidents happen. Loss happens. Plans change. Someone cuts you off in traffic. A person arrives late. Another says something that triggers you.
Most of those things are outside your control.
The response, however, is where your power lies.
“Nothing is in your control, nothing but your reaction.”
Adam later expanded on the same idea.
“You can only control your reaction. World is happening. Events happen.”
That does not mean you will never feel anger, grief, frustration or disappointment.
It means you become more aware of what happens next.
Do you allow one moment to destroy your entire day?
Does another person’s behaviour control your emotional state?
Can you pause long enough to consider another explanation?
One of the examples we spoke about was assuming positive intent.
Someone cuts you off in traffic and your first reaction might be anger. What happens if you imagine they are racing to an emergency instead?
You may never know the truth.
The other driver may simply be a complete idiot.
Still, the story you choose affects your body, your mood and what you carry into the next moment.
That is where self-regulation becomes powerful.
How Can You Question a Trigger Instead of Believing It?
Adam spoke about a process called The Work, which he uses to question thoughts and beliefs that create discomfort.
The basic idea is to examine what you think is true instead of automatically accepting the first story your mind creates.
Imagine someone is late to meet you.
You might instantly decide they do not respect you.
That belief could trigger a much deeper story about being unimportant or unworthy.
Instead of running with it, you start asking questions.
Is it true?
Can I absolutely know it is true?
How do I react when I believe that thought?
Who would I be without it?
Those questions create space between the event and the meaning you attach to it.
That is where emotional freedom starts.
The person may still be late.
You may still need a boundary around your time.
However, you do not have to turn someone being late into proof that you are worthless.
For Psychics and New Spiritual Entrepreneurs Who Are Ready to Adapt to the Future of Psychic Readings – What Do They Do First?
Throughout the business part of the episode, one message kept returning.
Start before you have everything figured out.
Many spiritual creators know they have something to offer, but they get stuck trying to decide what to charge, which platform to use, whether they need a website and how many followers they need before they can call themselves professional.
You learn some of those answers by doing the work.
Adam started his own mentorship work by offering sessions for free. That allowed him to understand what people needed, how he wanted to work and what he could eventually charge.
Starting small did not reduce his value.
It gave him experience.
The same applies to psychic readings, healing, coaching or any other spiritual service.
Your first offer does not have to be your final offer.
Prices can change.
Systems can improve.
Confidence grows through repetition.
You test what works.
Adam’s final business advice brought all of that together.
“Cherry pick, perform and reiterate.”
Listen to people.
Learn from different mentors.
Take the pieces that genuinely fit you.
Then act.
Afterwards, look at the results, adjust what needs changing and go again.
That is how businesses grow. They look to the future and adapt and as a psychic you will want to be aware of the future of psychic readings. In an ever-changing world you have to adapt of you will die.
What Is the Real Future of Psychic Readings?
The future of psychic readings is not simply about faster technology or another new platform.
It is about access.
Clients want different ways to connect.
Spiritual entrepreneurs need systems that do not leave them exhausted behind the scenes.
AI will keep becoming part of business, but the human voice still matters.
Small creators can build strong businesses when they have genuine relationships with the people they serve.
On-demand guidance may become a bigger part of the spiritual industry, while scheduled and recorded readings will continue to suit different clients and creators.
The most important thing is not trying to become everybody else.
Build what works for you.
Use the tools that support you.
Stay curious.
Question your assumptions.
Keep your authenticity.
Your people are not looking for the most perfect psychic, healer, mentor or spiritual creator in the world.
They are looking for the person they connect with.
Maybe the biggest lesson from this conversation was not really about technology at all.
It was about perspective.
The world becomes more interesting when you stop filling it with exclamation marks and start bringing more question marks.
That is where curiosity begins.
Humility grows there too.
Perhaps that is also where the next version of your business, your spiritual path and your life has room to appear.
And remember, beautiful, you are not broken. You are remembering who you are.
