Invite Divine Guidance Into Your Everyday Life

When you start your spiritual awakening journey, you want to invite divine guidance, and most people start with the archangels.. These powerful, high-frequency light beings are often called upon for protection, healing, guidance, and support.

This blog offers an overview of the 15 archangels commonly worked with on Earth. Each one has a unique energetic purpose and is associated with specific colours, animals, and crystals.

What Are Archangels?

 

Archangels are considered high-ranking spiritual messengers and protectors. While there are many archangels in existence, spiritual teachers like Doreen Virtue have popularised the 15 main archangels most commonly called on in daily spiritual practice.

Every human being is also believed to have a guardian angel who remains with them throughout their entire life. In contrast, archangels come and go depending on our needs and whether they are invited in.

Why Archangels Need to Be Invited

 

Unlike spirit guides or ancestors, angels cannot interfere with free will. They are beings of service, but assistance must be asked for. Whether you seek support in your health, emotional healing, relationships, work, or protection, the key is always to invite them in. A simple prayer or intention is enough.

How They’ve Helped Me Personally

 

Many years ago, a life-changing spiritual encounter occurred during a hospital stay. At the time, it was not recognised as divine intervention. However, through years of connection and validation, it became clear that Archangel Michael had stepped in to save my life.

Since then, angelic presence has become part of my everyday life—from calling in protection during travel, to asking for parking spots, or requesting calm in moments of chaos. When guidance or peace is needed, the archangels always show up—when asked.

The 15 Archangels: Overview & Energetic Roles

Over the coming months, each of these archangels will be explored in greater depth. For now, here is an introduction to each one:

1. Archangel Michael – Divine Protection & Strength

• Colour: Electric blue

• Animal: Wolf

• Crystals: Snowflake obsidian, black tourmaline, lapis lazuli

• Known as the protector and energy clearer, Archangel Michael supports courage, direction, and life purpose.

2. Archangel Raphael – Healing & Travel Support

• Colour: Emerald green

• Animal: Snake (medical symbol)

• Crystals: Jade, bloodstone

• Raphael is often called upon for healing on all levels—physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.

3. Archangel Gabriel – Communication & Creativity

• Colour: Golden yellow

• Animal: Nightingale

• Symbol: Trumpet

• Assists with writing, parenting, and messages from spirit. Energetically considered a feminine presence by many.

4. Archangel Uriel – Wisdom & Clarity in Chaos

• Colour: Smoky grey

• Animal: Owl

• Crystals: Smoky quartz, clear quartz

• He is the wise old sage and is often referred to as the weatherman. Uriel also supports those navigating emotional overwhelm.

5. Archangel Chamuel – Soulmate & Relationship Guidance

• Colours: Seafoam green and purple

• Animal: Butterfly and Swan

• Crystals: Fluorite

• Helps with finding lost items, attracting love, and healing relationships.

6. Archangel Jophiel – Beauty & Mindset Shift

• Colour: Fuchsia pink

• Animal: Hummingbird

• Crystals: Pink agate, mangano calcite

• Jophiel assists with perspective shifts and inner beauty activation.

7. Archangel Zadkiel – Learning, Memory & Forgiveness

• Colour: Deep purple

• Animal: Hawk

• Crystals: Purple fluorite, lepidolite

• Works powerfully during study and helps in the release of emotional pain.

8. Archangel Jeremiel – Dreams & Future Vision

• Colour: Bright purple

• Animal: Spider – spinning the webs of dreams.

• Symbol: Glitter (often seen as sparkles)

• Crystal: Amethyst

• Supports both nighttime dreaming and manifestation visioning.

9. Archangel Ariel – Nature, Animals & Self-Love

• Colour: Soft baby pink

• Animal: Lion

• Crystals: Mangano Calcite and Pink Agate

• Brings in courage and helps with humanitarian work and environmental healing. Promoting unconditional love of self, Ariel will help you find, love and trust yourself again.

10. Archangel Azrael – Transition, Grief & Emotional Rebirth

• Colour: Cream or pale yellow

• Animal: Dove

• Crystals: Apache Tears and Unakite

• Azrael supports souls in passing, helps loved ones through grief, and aids emotional transformation. He is also great to work with when you feel hopeless, in great grief or despair.

11. Archangel Metatron – Children, Sacred Geometry & Divine Order

• Colours: White light and deep red

• Animal: Elephant

• Crystals: White Howlite

• Assists children, especially those with unique energy patterns like autism or ADHD. Also works with sacred geometry and divine order.

12. Archangel Sandalphon – Prayer & Connection to Heaven

• Colour: Turquoise

• Animal: Turtle

• Crystals: Turquoise

• Delivers prayers to God and assists in communication with loved ones in spirit.

13. Archangel Raguel – Justice, Fairness & Equality

• Colour: Pale blue

• Animal: Orca or magpie

• Crystals: Sodalite and Red Jasper

• Works to bring harmony and resolve conflicts – especially legal or relationship-based.

14. Archangel Haniel – Intuition, Moon Cycles & Feminine Energy

• Colour: Cerulean blue

• Animal: Crab or Swan

• Supports emotional cycles, feminine intuition, and lunar rhythms.

15. Archangel Raziel – Psychic Abilities & Manifestation

• Colour: Rainbow

• Animal: Crow

• Crystals: Labradorite, Iron Pyrite, and Clear Quartz.

• Known as the magician, Raziel helps with spells, truth-seeking, and spiritual development. If you ever feel someone is lying to you, “Ask Archangel Raziel, may the truth be spoken here?”  and see what happens.

How to Invite Divine Guidance and Call in the Archangels

 

To work with any of these beings, simply set an intention or speak a direct invocation. For example:

• “Archangel Michael, please protect me today and clear any heavy energy around me.”

• “Archangel Raphael, bring healing to my body and balance to my mind.”

• “Archangel Raziel, help me uncover the truth and deepen my intuition.”

Use this general invocation to call the Archangels:

“Dear Archangels, I welcome your guidance. Please surround me in light and help me see, hear, and feel your presence in ways that serve my highest good.”

Final Thoughts

 

You will only feel the presence of the Archangels when you invite them. Asking for their help can shift energy, support clarity, and offer divine intervention in even the smallest aspects of daily life, such as parking spots, traffic, or calming an anxious mind.

Over time, individual episodes will explore each archangel in greater depth, with personal stories, invocations, and energy techniques to support your connection.
