Try This Simple EFT Tapping Sequence for Anxiety & Overthinking
Step 1: Rate your anxiety on a scale of 1-10.
Step 2: Begin tapping on the side of your hand (karate chop (KC) point) and say:
“Even though I feel anxious right now, I deeply and completely accept myself.”
“Even though my mind won’t stop racing, I choose to let go of this tension.”
“Even though I feel overwhelmed, I allow myself to feel safe and calm.”
Step 3: Tap through the following points while repeating a phrase:
1️⃣ Eyebrow: “I feel so anxious right now.”
2️⃣ Side of Eye: “My thoughts won’t slow down.”
3️⃣ Under Eye: “It feels like I can’t control my mind.”
4️⃣ Under Nose: “I’ve been stuck in this pattern for too long.”
5️⃣ Chin: “But what if I could release this tension?”
6️⃣ Collarbone: “What if I could feel safe in this moment?”
7️⃣ Under Arm: “I choose to let go of this overthinking.”
8️⃣ Top of Head: “I am safe. I am calm. My mind is clear.”
Step 4: Take a deep breath and check in with how you feel.
Step 5: Repeat if needed until you feel a noticeable shift.
