How Mediumship Can Support Emotional Healing After Loss
By Shaz Cini – Sydney’s Trusted Psychic Medium & Intuitive Healer
Grief Doesn’t Follow a Timeline — But Healing Can Begin with a Message from Spirit
Losing someone you love can leave behind more than just sadness — it can create a silence so loud, it echoes through every part of your day. The unanswered questions. The what-ifs. The deep ache in your chest that even time hasn’t eased. And I want you to know: mediumship isn’t about “proving” anything. It’s about how mediumship can support emotional healing and help release what still hurts.
As a psychic medium, I’ve spent over 35 years helping people bridge that painful gap – not with empty promises, but with real, soul-level connection.
What Is Mediumship, Really?
Mediumship is the sacred ability to connect with loved ones in Spirit. Through clairaudience (hearing), clairsentience (feeling), and other intuitive senses, I receive messages, impressions, and guidance directly from the other side.
But here’s the thing, most people don’t talk about:
👉 It’s not about shock value or “fortune telling”
👉 It’s not a party trick
👉 It’s a deep spiritual tool for emotional release, forgiveness, clarity, and peace
How Mediumship Can Support Healing
Grief can trap emotions – anger, guilt, regret, and confusion. When those feelings stay stuck, they affect your energy, your health, and your ability to move forward.
That’s where mediumship helps.
💫 Validation – Messages that confirm your loved one is still around
💫 Closure – A chance to say what was left unsaid
💫 Reconnection – Feel their presence and support again
💫 Peace – Knowing love doesn’t end when life does
Real Clients. Real Healing.
“I had a reading with Shaz the same day my grandmother passed. The messages were so specific — things only my Nanna would know. I felt instantly lighter, like I could breathe again.”
– Ali, Brisbane
These stories are just one example of how mediumship can support your healing journey after loss – bringing comfort, validation, and peace.
What If You’re Scared or Unsure?
That’s okay. Many people are. You don’t have to “believe in everything” to benefit. Just come with an open heart – Spirit will do the rest.

Love Never Dies — It Just Changes Form.
And sometimes, the greatest gift we can receive… is knowing they’re still with us.
💗 Honour Their Love by Living Yours
Your loved ones don’t want you to grieve so deeply that you stop living. Grief is the absence of love not felt – and when you shut down, isolate, or give up on life, you’re unintentionally sending a message that their love wasn’t enough.
But it was. It is.
Love doesn’t end when someone passes. It lingers in your heart, your memories, your voice when you speak their name. The most powerful way to honour them is by living. Talk to them in Spirit. Share their stories. Laugh at the memories. Let their love move through you into others.
That is the most sacred gift you can give them – and yourself.

After losing my 2 children and husband 20 years ago, it has been an absolute blessing to be able to connect with my girls ( and partner) through Shaz. Over time, I have always wondered about the what if’s and speaking with Shaz, she has soothed my fears about if they are ok ( and are together). Through many tears and laughter, everything that she says eases my mind and helps me not only remember my babies, but reflect and reconnect with them when i need to. Shaz has taught me over the years to be altert for ‘signs’ that they are near, and now these are obvious ( and sometimes annoying- the ashtray smell from my husband who was a smoker) can sometimes be there when im least expecting it. ( but who I needed to hear from at the time)
If you are sitting on the fence about wondering if you should make a time to see Shaz, I encourage you to do it and although you may shed a tear ( thats allowed) you will have so many more uplifting memores of your loved ones that you will be buzzing for days and want to do it all over again!
Thank you Shaz for being the stairway to heaven to connect me with the most precious people in my life!!
Thank you for your beautiful words Julie. It is always an honour to connect you with your loved ones. It always makes me smile when the girls come through and say hello and even when your husband smokes around us. I am so grateful to know that you find peace and calm after your deep losses and continue to live life for them. They are forever with you in your heart and mind.
